Title: Midges
Post by: Chris H on August 25, 2012, 08:52:04 am
This may be daft, but my two ewes clearly do not like the midges (who does) is there anything I can do? they have a shelter to retreat to, but anything else?
They have trees bordering the land and these seem to hold the midges, what does every one else do? The other field has the ram and boys and these seem not to notice the midges

I use the Barrier fly repellent on my goats. Has to be sprayed everyday and they don't like being sprayed either but it does seem to help.
