Title: GOS Gilt for sale
Post by: Fowgill Farm on August 23, 2012, 07:31:55 pm
Dolly is a pedigree Gloucestershire Old Spot, she was born on 26/12/2011 so is just coming up 8 months old. We've shown all summer and she has some rosettes but not the elusive red one yet (we'll try at Westmoreland!)
She is a lovely girl with a good nature and loves lots of cuddles and tummy rubs, we would like her to go to a nice home that has another pig(s) for company, she can be put in pig mid October to give you piglets mid feb or a bit later if preferred. She lives currently with her half sister in an outside paddock and loves a good wallow.
We are located in North Yorkshire but you can see her at Penistone show (8/9), Westmorland as mentioned 13/9 and Nidderdale 23/9. Will post a picture if i can get her to stand still!
For price and any further information please PM me or call 07979858757
It is important that my pigs go to like minded pig keepers. www.oldspots.org.uk/mysite/fowgillfarm (http://www.oldspots.org.uk/mysite/fowgillfarm)

Dolly got a very creditable  :trophy: 3rd place at Penistone show at the weekend, very good considering she is nearly 3 months younger than some of the other competitors.

Bump and just to add we won't be at Nidderdale can't get day off work!
Dolly got 3rd again at Westmoreland so really pleased as all other pigs much bigger/older than her.

What a shame that she has not sold, she looks a nice girl.

Mandy, if you were nearer I'd have her.  I sold a Dolly gilt about 3 years ago and regretted it soon after  ??? .
