Hello
I'm Gemma and I live on a smallholding in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire with my husband and our three sons who are 8,7 and 5.
We have a herd of 21 Mule sheeps with a lamb each and various chickens - Warrens, Copper Marans & Salmon Faverolles, but our main love are our four pedigree British Lop pigs ~ my avi is our boar, Hugh Grunt. In the last month we've welcomed our first piglets - a litter of twelve and a litter of eleven piglets
Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi Karen :)
We're used to the sheep and hens because my father-in-law always kept them before he sadly passed away in February, but the pigs...well let's say we're on a learning curve ;D

Yup, they'll keep you on your toes right enough :D That's the problem with intelligent animals, they're always one step ahead ::) ;) (and they have more time on their trotters to think about how to cause mayhem :innocent:)
You'll have to post some photo's of your babies piglets ;) ;D

Great pics  thanks for posting
OSB sow, Saddleback cross offspring soon to fulfil a different role... :'(, LB weaners arriving in a couple of weeks to take their place. To be truthful it's too muddy here for pigs, but we love them, so we keep just a few.
Commercial beef and sheep, Jersey house cow en route to becoming house herd... :innocent:, rare breed sheep for meat and fleece and the pure enjoyment of looking at them :)

 Hi from a humid Yorkshire. Love the pics - makes me tempted but I know I shouldn't. Have to stick with the horses, lambs, cats and dog for now.
