Just had to dispatch one of my hens, poor thing as suffering, she had a terrible prolapse, she was ok this morning but tonight a terrible mess,sad but the best thing to do.

Brave you - I'm so sad I have to go to the vet and wish I could get to grips of things like that - but you did the right thing - hopefully cheerier day tomorrow  :fc:

I got mine through a prolapse but she has never laid since.  I was going to dispatch her but she has always been my favourite so she have kept her.

So sorry  :hug: , it's bad enough dealing with a prolapse initially without the upset of dispatching as well  :bouquet:

I believe they rarely recover, well done doing the deed  :trophy:
