Hiya folks
I've been contacted by someone looking for a lady-friend for an 18 month old Kunekune boar.
Does anyone in Scotland have any girls (oref. registered) they'd consider parting with ? He's located in Fife, so the closer the better
Please drop a note here or pm me for the contact details.
Thanks :-*

hi Karen i am assuming they are wanting it for free there may be kunnies at lanark at the rare breed sale not that they make a lot of money going by previous sales :farmer:

You know what they say when you assume something ;) It makes an ass of u and me :D
He's prepared to pay for the pig, just in case anyone thought otherwise :innocent:
-
it was just the way you had worded the request ;) :farmer:

I didn''t read anything in this post about wanting a pig for free.
I have girls for sale but too far from Scaotland sorry.
-
I, too have nice 8month old gilt but I dare say they won't want to travel to Devon for her :(
-
I wish you were both closer too !
I'd love an excuse to come and visit you both ;D
Hey, if I don't have any luck, you just never know :innocent:

Thanks for letting me know Alison

Karen - I've got two gilts of 9 months old but they're out of a Tamworth sow by a Kune boar. Could be delivered to you easily enough.

Thanks Jane, suspect he's looking for pure Kunekune, but I'll mention it to him and let you know
How did the cross turn out by the way ? Are they just like smaller hairier Tamworths ? Would love to see photo's ;)

Hi Karen
There's a man up here who's breeding Kunes, I think they're registered! Would you like his number??
-
Hiya Lee
If he happens to have any older girls he'd sell then yes please  He's not looking for piglets or anything under 9 or 10 months though cos of the age/size of the boar.
Thanks, Karen x

I'll take some pics of them, Karen. Yes, just like smaller hairier Tams. And delicious !

I am PM-ing you 3 numbers of people breeding KKs in the Scottish Borders - it will be about a 1.5-2.0hr drive to any of them.
