Just got back from G & S show at Gillingham Dorset. My goodness what a day :raining: :gloomy: the rain just got harder and harder i was wet through to me knickers! all that hard work getting the sheep ready and we all got soaked through.
They cancelled the Grand Parade and let us go early, or we would have been stuck in and needing a tow.
We did get a few firsts and seconds so not a complete loss, I don't know how Hazelwood got on though she was across the field from us shrouded in murky grey. I stayed huddled in my collapsing gazebo battered by the wind. What is going on with this weather ??? it's August for goodness sake!
Hope the show didn't make too much of a loss i think the gate was really down understandably.
We came home to bright sunshine ::)
