Hi, I'm new around here - I'm a Devon lass in Dorset.
Always grown up around farming. Our smallholding is 20 acres and we do a mix of goats and chickens as well as growing vegetables for our own table (nothing like fresh veg! ;)) Oh and not to forget the horses, love to ride but rarely seem to get time around the farm, business and children!!)
Look forward to chatting with everyone :)

Oh 20 acres, how I can dream..! I don't have green fingers so I admire your vegetable-ness. I manage tomatoes.. kind of!

 Hello from a very sunny :sunshine: Yorkshire. Too hot to work outdoors today especially in the polytunnel. Couldn't agree more about the fresh veg - just popped a pea pod as I write. SheepishSophie -persevere with the veg growing, you'll get there in the end and it is so satisfying when you do.

Hello from Worcestershire
I think we've finally cracked the veggie growing this year :fc: as I type we have a curry bubbling away with potatoes, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, runner beans and peas from our garden (oh and a tin of chick peas!) and a pan which contains milk that I hope is turning into goats cheese. It is lovely being able to turn a plot of land into something productive, very satisfying!
