Title: Wytsend Girls
Post by: Roxy on August 12, 2012, 12:48:16 pm: We have 5 females, 1 goatling, and one intact male, all bred by Wytsend. Plus their six kids.

Here is a cute pic, of the three that arrived a few weeks back. Very attached to each other, eat, sleep, and hang out in the field together. Really affectionate girls, as are all the Wytsend goats I have.

On the left is Minnie (she is petite!) Cherry, and Dinah.

4 girls are mated already so wondering about a milder winter again.

Whether its our position in the country, or something,but its usually October before any of our larger females show signs of being in season. But,the pygmy sized females are in season now, and the two smaller males are willing at any time of year.

There again, Wytsend Darren was seen sprucing himself up, and spraying in some undesirable places, so maybe he is getting ready ........

Curry was getting quite funny with his mum the other week and now I'm wondering if she was in season. Wish I'd made a note of the date but I didn't think about it. He was quite possessive of her and wouldn't let her go where she wanted, as well as trying to mount.
