Title: Wart on ear?
Post by: moprabbit on August 09, 2012, 11:02:28 pm
I just wondered if anyone knew what this was on my ewes ear - it's dry and a bit scabby, rather like a wart. She had one on one ear and now has another on the other ear. They're not causing her a problem and they don't seem to be growing. I've tried to include a photo. Hope it works!
Thanks

I thought my we had udder warts as they look identical to ones on cows but apparently its not a wart.... its like the soft bobbly tissue breastfeeding women get if they get cuts on their nipples when their babies cut teeth still breastfeeding. they take a while to go down but are harmless. just look wierd. My ewe got these after rearing quads herself but when they got bigger they slit her teat where it joins the udder and its exactly here the fleshy nodules have formed.
