You know - if they just charged 1p to send an email - all this nonsense would soon stop.

Sounds perfectly genuine to me and what a nice man to be prepared to share the money.  If it were me, though, I might have a problem keeping it secret because of the excitement.   :innocent: :innocent:

They only have to log on to FB to find a ready supply of idiots , sadly there is not a world shortage yet, so, if you trawl through your contacts lists and forward his details to all the people on there that have given you grief in any way shape and form , especialy those on your spam lists, you could be doing the world a favour. :innocent:

An excellent reason not to put personal details, such as email address, on Facebook.

They pester us because believe it or not, some people do actually believe it, so whatever they do with the bank details, it must be worth the bother, personally I find them (bordering on) amusing. And come on, you just wanted to use the new 'rant' emo'thing' didn't you  ;) .

I have on occasion received emails, asking for money becuase such and such of an african country is defrauding the person who wrote the email  of his rightful inheritance and he needs funds to fight it. I normally send an email backing saying how terrible it is to hear this and I will be passing on email to scotland yard so they can help as they have the resources better than I.
