My kids were so bemused.

Believe it or not they're pretty good fried as chips.

You canny beat them mashed with lots of butter and pepper.
Mental note............buy sweet potatoes for tea tomorrow!!!

they make nice soup with carrots or squash but we mainly just put them in the microwave!
you have to moisten them first, then put on full for 10 minutes, depending on size they might be soft and done or repeat the process. also, you can cook and mash them like normal tatties, real nice. :&>

i boil them like potatoes and mash them with butter and black pepper and use them instead of potato in my shepherds pie!

I'm diabetic, and eat them in place of potatoes, they're lower GI and just taste better :)

And i put them in my stews and soups, and on top of fish pie! Or root veg mash with lots of butter and pepper in, eg carrots, parsnip etc whatever we have in the cupboard :yum: :)

|I make sweet potato and garlic soup.
boil sweet potatoes til soft, add stock powder (marigold is my fav) and whole garlic cloves to taste, wel ove garlic so use bulbs!
Then whizz up with blender.
Delicious with home made crusty bread and butter!
