Hey Guys... thank you very much.....
Omni...katmoget is a Shetland colouration type... that is my ram....Dancing Michael Flatly.... his first show is in 2 weeks. I think he is stunning but I have seen the very, very, very stiff competition - I am going up against all other Champion Shetland Rams!!! LOL! I am the only novice with a ram who has only ever follied with my ladies with a mouthful of grass and never seen a show ring in his life.
Donna.... The bigger girls are Charollais x Lleyn and the lambs are Charollais x Shetland (including that naughty tree climber....Cherry-Pie - who is my gorgeous bottle fed baby... and they wonder why they get hawthorned!!!! LOL
-
Great pics, love the ram.
-
Lovely sheep, good luck with the show and the :raining:

My grand daughter who is five will be showing her ram shearling and I can assure you that he is not champion but she so enjoys it, the only problem is her two year old sister has a shearling ewe and is to young to show properly and has to watch her sister (tantrum pending). I will be there with my Hebis so hope to put faces to names

is the Shepton show a big one, thinking of coming over but its about 90 miles away, but dont mind if there are lots of animals to see :D and be nice to meet some forum members too. looked at the website and it says can bring dogs too so thats a plus for us, as he doesnt like being left for too long.
-
no its quite a small show with a big main ring some cattle, sheep and horses - not sure if they have pigs anymore. Its very friendly, but not large.
-
It's not a huge show but there is plenty to do and see. Last year I was one of the first ones there in the a.m and one of the last to leave and I wasn't even showing! LOL! AND it's free to enter so the saving on the entry fee makes the petrol worth it if you are coming further afield.
I will have laminated signs on my pens saying "Mallows Flock" and will be showing in the Shetland Class... looking very nervous. LOL.
I might even make a little "Mallows Flock" badge to wear on my show coat so if you see it, say "Hi"! It would be good to see other TAS members there.
They do still have pigs showing.
Carole... I want my boy to do the young handler too but he is 9 now and self conscious! :trophy: :trophy: :trophy:

I'll be there spectating and will probably be in the company of a couple of collie dogs (who'd have thought eh?) 1 red and white smoothie and 1 black and white furry beast. I may however wear a badge so you know it's me ;D :excited: :excited:
