Just spent 2 weeks grouse counting for various estates. It's hard work for the dogs, and me! I was a dog down so had to use one and she really did well next spring, I'll hopefully have another setter as i have a youngster in training. I also work a gwp but i can't use her for brood counting as she can be a bit grabby with the youngsters.

Thanks. It's the part of the job i enjoy. I am just about to start doing wormcounts on grouse, which isn't such a nice part of the job lol
