Title: Horatio - my lamb that was worried
Post by: kitchen cottage on July 29, 2012, 08:24:02 am
He is doing well and off antibiotics and the wound is healing well.

He's an entire male suffolk.

He was destined for the freezer but it seems harsh that his one summer should be mared by suffering and so I am trying to find someone who wants a breeder....

In temperament all of the lambs are adorable and maleable, being  from a city farm and well handled by people.

I am in Essex so Scotland is probably a bit far (most of you seem norf of the border) but I thought I'm try anyway..... I'll see if I can work out how to upload a picture later :)

I think you'll find there are a lot of folk on here who aren't in Scotland - we're just the gobby ones  ;D

Is he registered? If you want to keep him, it won't cost very much to have your vet castrated him, especially if you take him to the vet and avoid the call out charge. I think we paid about £10 to have one done.

This is really not the sort of animal people will be wanting to breed from. Either have him castrated or vasectomised. He might do as a teaser.

I am in Essex [...] (most of you seem norf of the border)
I used to pass within a mile of you on my daily commute. Now I'm about as far north of the border as you are from Brussels :)
