Our move to Sutherland took a big step closer yesterday. So now where only waiting to get the contract and thats it where off up to now with looking going to see the first place that sadly fell thru its taken about a year. But now where at the point of getting quotes for hire vans ( one way where not coming back :) ) and packing boxes. Would like to have a few days of when we get there but cant see that happening. Its going to be BRILL :) :) :)

You know, theres no nicer and more exciting feeling in the world than that van drive.....every mile you drive the cares fall further from your shoulders and the excitement and happiness rise higher :-)))))))))
enjoy it!
BTW we did it 4/5 years ago and havent regretted it for a minute.

That's how I felt when I booked our removal vans and my car, with my car being ONE WAY! It was so exciting. The day we packed up the van, I had no nerves or fear of the unknown, it just felt as if it was the right thing to do. The minute we drove off the ferry in Caen I felt at home, a feeling that hasnt changed in 7 years!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Going through much the same at the moment. Managed to sell my house in Liverpool on Tuesday which was a huge relief and must have checked my email every few minutes through the whole day.
Still waiting to exchange on the place we're buying down in Shropshire so generally just trying to cope with the constant background anxiety that it might fall through and have to start again.
Concentrating on the fact that, temporarily at least, I am completely debt free and ignoring the fact I am homeless! ::)
Good luck with your move, it's very exciting!
