Anyone tryed Butox 7.5 , works on cows and horses

Horseflies and cleggs are very bad at the moment with the damp and warm conditions.
This has been reccommended by a French friend.

We have used it yes; it was recommended by our vet to protect a heifer who's horns had to be removed in the summertime.  She certainly never seemed to be bothered by the flies.

We need something! I was bitten by the horseflies at 7.30 yesterday. Horses have been out early but back in now before they pushed the gate down.

Has anyone tried the Flectron fly tags?  I have heard about people using them on their horses, but do they actually work?!  I need something for my mare, as she refuses to wear a flymask (sorry, bit off topic...!).

we used to use them on the cattle they work alright      we ended up using fly spray (brought them in and sprayed with a knapsack sprayer)  it lasted 6 weeks and what an immediate effect it had  :farmer:
