Title: I'm in the Money, I'm in the Money.
Post by: Castle Farm on July 21, 2012, 05:49:35 pm
Just had an e mail from a god fearing christian who wants me to help her with a small problem.

What would you do?

N[38 Rue Des Martyrs Cocody
 Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire
 ATTN:
 DEAREST ONE OF GOD
I am the above named person from Kuwait . I am married to Mr David Williams, who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Coast for nine years before he died in the year 2004. We were married for eleven years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days.

Before his death we were both born again Christian. Since his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of $2. 5 Million (Two Million Five Hundred U.S. Dollars) in the bank here in Abidjan in suspense account.

Presently, the fund is still with the bank. Recently, my Doctor told me that i have serious sickness which is cancer problem. The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to a church or individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein. I want a church that will use this fund for orphanages, widows, propagating the word of God and to endeavour that the house of God is maintained.

The Bible made us to understand that blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I dont have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and I dont want my husband efforts to be used by unbelievers. I dont want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly way. This is why I am taking this decision. I am not afraid of death hence i know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the Lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace.
I dont need any telephone communication in this regard because of my health hence the presence of my husband relatives is around me always I don't want them to know about this development. With God all things are possible. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the bank here in Abidjan .I await your soonest response with your full information, example.
 (1}Your full name ------------------

 (2}Address ------------------------

I will use the above information to obtain an authorization letter that will legally and officially approve you as the new beneficiary of this fund from the Federal Ministry of Justice Cote D ivoire . I want you and the church to always pray for me because the lord is my shepherd. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I Stated herein.

 Remain blessed in the Lord
Take care, Yours Sister in Christ

Best one of these I heard was a bloke who was asked to help out with a money transfer for which he could keep 10% of the silly amount they were going to deposit into his account.
Anyway being nobodies fool he set up an account with a pound in and sent off details of, bank acct. address, copy of passport etc as requested then waited to see what happened. To his surprise this large amount was duly deposited in his account.
Figuring that there was nothing to stop him keeping all the money he wrote to the paper and asked their financial people could he just keep it all.
Their reply .......... By all means he could ........... and the fact that the Russian Mafia knew who he was and where he lived wasn't to bother him at all !!

Well! If I had it I'd go around buying up a few empty churches. I'd strip out all the pews and other vestages of what makes up the insides of a church and put them on ebay.

I'd put in a kitchen a utility room with a big washing machine and a few bathrooms and as many comfortable beds as would fit.

Then I'd go out and find 'lost sheep' and invite them to stay till they got thier lives back together.

Thats christanity in my view.

Got one of these some time ago from His Royal Highness Prince Seesoo of Lesotho saying that he had to get funds out of the country since his brother the king would not let him spend his money. I found this hillarious as I had met the man mentioned in this email a few weeks prior to this and we were still in email contact since my organisation was supporting a charity in his country. I sent him the email as a joke and he took it very well. These scams catch the greedy and naive and really ought to be dealt with nastily.

I just hope they don't find some genuine but naive Christian who will believe it all.  Strange that she knows your email address but not your name.

When I was advertising my tutoring services on a particular site, I often had requests to tutor someone's son who would be sent to England from where-ever to have several weeks of English tuition.  All I had to supply was my bank details and the money would be paid in advance.  A number of us received the same email but the site owner was able to block them somehow.

I delete anything like this.

Sadly, over the last few years, all my family and their families have been wiped out in car crashes/air crashes/oil refinery disasters/epidemics/suicides etc in Nigeria.  all were fabulously wealthy and had left their money to me.............oh yea?    :innocent:
