Anyone any experience of owning a sauna?
I'm looking at getting an infra red sauna to go into the new log cabin, but i've never actually used one.
all the reading on the t'interweb seems to suggest this is the way to go - both for the "health" benefits and also the costs of running and ease of keeping the thing clean/looked after

I have no experience of owning , but know a couple of people who do. one use a conventional electric one which heats up coals, and he uses it at least once a week. the other might as well have a solar powered atomic device as he has never even turned it on. we had a steam room in a bathroom when we moved in and decided not to even turn it on once i had looked at the electrical installation. It had burned through the floorboards. it is now quite a nice shower cubicle. i have to say i am jealous, I have had a really busy time lately and a nice relaxing sauna would be great.
