Yesterday for lunch, we had cheese rolls with homemade rolls and homemade apple chutney. Hubby said it was just a shame that we didnt have homemade cheese aswell. I'd be more than happy to have a go, but not having cows, ewes, or female goats, I dont have much of a chance. We should have had egg rolls instead but chutney doesnt go with egg!

I make soft cheese and did try hard cheese but it went off due to my not having a cool enough room to store it while it was ripening.

If you only want to make small cheeses, a new cake tin pierced with holes in the bottom, a piece of wood to fit exactly on top and some weights will do the job. :)
