Title: Vet Student Placement
Post by: hrbraid on July 13, 2012, 07:46:42 pm
Hi all,

A friend of mine is a 2nd year vet student and she's desperate for a two week placement on a pig farm. If she doesn't find a placement before September she'll fail the year. She's very friendly and hard working, and the vet school specifies the farm must have 60+ breeding sows. Can any of you help, or know anyone who could help? She'd be very grateful for accommodation but a local B&B would also be an option. Unfortunately she doesn't drive.

Thanks!
- Helen

Hiya,
Where is your friend ?
I have friends outside Aberdeen who work in a large indoor piggery (something like 500+ sows) so if that's any good just drop me a quick pm.

She lives in London, but she can get the train up then a taxi to the farm. That'd be great :) Thanks!
