Title: does anybody in fife have a goose for sale? (a live one!)

just that really.  someone i know has lost one of theirs and is looking for a replacement.

What sex are they looking for and are they bothered about breed? I have a couple of spare Embdens but Im pretty sure they are boys.
If they are after a boy they would be welcome to have one for free as at the moment it is an imbalance in the pairings so causes friction in the gaggle! We are in Southern Aberdeenshire (near Aboyne).
Both our girls (Toulouse) are happily married so they wouldnt be for sale :-)

Hi Egglady,
 
We have some young geese for sale at the moment which we bought as day olds around Easter time. They're probably 3/4 grown by now, and are pretty much your common or garden white farmyard goose (they look a bit like embdens). We have two spare girls and one boy available (sexed at day old).
 
We're near Stirling, so not too far away. PM me if you're interested.

so i phone the lady back to tell her i have a couple of possibilities and she tells me she's sorted!!!  aarrgghh...sorry folks.  thanks for replies nonetheless.  shows how fab this forum is...for pretty much everything
