Title: sheep with goats?
Post by: yankieGirl on July 12, 2012, 05:13:36 pm
Would I be able to have one sheep live with my 4 goats and 2 cows?

It can be done but the copper in goat feed/ mineral licks is toxic to sheep.
You might find more complications with worms too (goats are more likely to suffer the burden)
mine have co-habited before though, with my saanen bossing the pecking order and keeping the sheep under control!

It is probably different stateside but with agricultural stock here they have to have a companion animal of the same species.  :)

thanks.

No regs dictating that animals must live two by two.  Noah would fit in well over there!
