Title: you know you've kept your eaters too long when......

yep you've guessed it;
we had our first egg from the table birds today
 
we have done 1/2 of them and only have 6 left
we are wondering if we should keep 2 girls and breed some table birds from them
our boy is speckled sussex and the eaters are ross/cobb
what do you all think

Why not you mite get some useful crosses. Give the ross/cobbs plenty of space though or they will get very big.
