I am selling a young female goat, she isBritish Alpine type, not sure if she is pure or x as was not bred by myself. She is 8-12months old with BA markings. She is a little nervy but will eat out of your hand, just needs time spending with her. We bought two as companions for our Pygmy but she has taken an intense dislike to this little girl so we have decided to sell her. Would consider swapping for a young female Pygmy. Asking £100, we are based near j14 m6 Stafford. Could deliver locally, CPH number required.

I have messaged you!!

Her ear tag number can be checked on 'Grassroots' system to see if she is registered. Some previously believed unregistered have been found this way.
-
Has she been CAE tested and what about horns ?
-
H, will try the ear tag thing but pretty sure she's not registered. She does have little horns!
-
How do you know she would make an excellent milk goat - if you seemingly don't know anything about her parentage, breeding etc etc......
-
Was going on the fact that she clearly has some British Alpine in her and thought they were a milky type of goat
-
What about the CAE.
-
Not as far as I know
-
Having "some BA in her" doesn't make her a good milker per se, but she could be. I am just saying as you don't know anything of her parentage or even her precise age it would be a bit premature to state that she should be a good milker.
-
Well yes it is, so will change it to, may be a good milker or may be dreadful! But will potentially be a good miker and most probably better than a Pygmy as she is a more milky 'type' ?
Will try to add a picture as its perhaps more accurate than my attempts at a description!
-
That would be helpful, as it would also allow people to judge the size of her horns.
-
Am trying but it keeps saying the file is to large..... any ideas how to shrink it?
Can e-mail pictures if anyone interested, just can't seem to get them on here, sorry :-[

If you go into edit, you should have the facility to change the size of your picture so that it will attach. Hope this helps :)

Thanks will keep trying
