Title: Boreray wethers for sale. North Devon.
Post by: judee on July 07, 2012, 06:31:25 pm
Hi. Is there anyone out there (preferably not too far out there) that is looking for either last years or this years Boreray wethers? I seem to have accumulated rather an impressive bunch of these chaps and I don't have a huge amount of grass. So if you are looking for rare breed sheep (all vet castrated) do get in touch.
I would like £50 each but I am prepared to haggle if you want a good group. They are all from pedigree stock but I probably will only register them as born as it costs to fully register them. Boreray sheep are critically endangered (only 300 breeding ewes in the world) so they are interesting and very attractive. They are self shedding and hardy and good to eat in their third year or so. :sheep: :sheep: :sheep:
