Well not sure if its begginers luck,but im more than pleased with the result. 9-6-12 set 25 meat bird eggs in the incubator ended up with 17 chicks.

Just a couple of ??
Did you candle? Did you break the unsuccessful eggs? It might very well be that your success rate is higher than you think :)

I only candled at about 14 days and removed a clear egg,wasnt sure about the contents of the others so left them,after no other eggs pipped on sunday pm i emptied the incubator and broke 1 of the eggs in the wheelie bin,eurgh never again i got covered in addled egg on the face, and over my chest hairs as i didnt have a shirt on,lol
