Title: Only 1 duckling for the brooder
Post by: WarescotFarm on June 28, 2012, 07:33:37 pm
ONly 1 of my 6 hatched, it seems very strong this little duckling but will it be lonely in the broody
Should I put a teddy in there or something or will it be alright with nothing to cuddle up to?

Definitely put a teddy in - I always do with ducklings anyway, but especially early hatchers.

Then your little guy really does need some friends acquiring for him. Obviously ideally ducklings but chicks are better than nothing.
