ONly 1 of my 6 hatched, it seems very strong this little duckling but will it be lonely in the broody
Should I put a teddy in there or something or will it be alright with nothing to cuddle up to?
-
Definitely put a teddy in - I always do with ducklings anyway, but especially early hatchers.
Then your little guy really does need some friends acquiring for him. Obviously ideally ducklings but chicks are better than nothing.

chicks are not due until next week, he has a week alone :(
I tried to get another duckling today but the youngest was 6 weeks so massive
he is cheeping away poor thing, also how do you sex a duck?
