Post by: si-mate on June 25, 2012, 08:46:52 am
Small bale hay for sale.
Made last week, hasn't been rained on and is weed free. £4 / bale out of the barn.

Hope to have some available off the field later this week - £3.50 / bale.

Located West Kent.
Tel Simon on 07887 921394.

I'm also available to mow grass using an 8ft mower with conditioner and bale hay or straw with a modern baler and flat 8 sledge. Tonbridge / Sevenoaks area.

In the barn eh! What a lovely thing to be able to say ;D

Mine's still out in the field all cold, wet and almost standing upright.

The wettest June for over 100 years and it's now July and guess what....It's bloody pouring down and has been for most of the day.

Down in our corner there will be a lot of forage for sale, but I doubt much of it will be good quality. The grass has grown like mad and with the high winds and rain has mostly gone over so it will be tangled, brown and manky in the bottom.

I grazed until quite late so my grass is still standing and very green so has made some lovely hay

wow! and I agree the price is reasonable for the SE of England, my friends in Herts are having to buy big bales as the small ones are edging on £7 a bale!!!!!!
