Title: Wanted: Broody Hen
Post by: Hen on April 28, 2009, 01:39:54 pm
I'm looking for a broody hen to incubate some eggs.  I can't justify the cost of buying an incubator (or all the electricity that goes with it!) but would love to hatch some eggs to join our small flock.

If anyone could help that would be fabulous.

A couple of weeks ago I bought 4 new hens one of which was a very broody hen, but by the time she got here and we put her in the broody ark she changed her mind!  She has now joined the rest of the flock and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she goes broody again!  Or maybe she wasn'r broody and I was conned!!
