I've just spotted this on Gumtree Glasgow, looks like a usefull livestock trailer for not a lot of money, probably at least needs the brakes and lights checking.(It's in Dumfries)

If it was closer we may have been tempted ... it looks a bargin for someone!

Gordon,
Thanks for the heads up - just what i was looking for. I had one of my boys check it out and i have bought it.
Now i can bring some sheep north.
-
Glad you got it tobytoby, it certainly looked good in the advert. If I hadn't bought one last year, I'd have jumped on it.
If you use a mild acid on it, it'll shine up like new!

Gordon,
It needs;
2 wheel bearings
small weld to A frame
Brakes tidied up or disconnected
6 bolts for the drop down flaps
inner part of Jockey wheel (existing is bent but works)
Everything else works fine- it looks like Land Rover wheels with 10x more tread than is on my car. I think i got a bargain.
Can you recommend a mild acid?
Grant

have you priced the parts it is illegal to run without brakes :farmer:
-
Robert,
No problem for the parts.
I was thinking that if i disconnected 2 of the 4 it would suffice until i get the back plates sorted.
-
if you get pulled they have to be all working :farmer:

What type of 'mild acid' is advised as mine could do with it also?
