Hiya folks,
My dad has finally admitted he'll never get round to finishing this project and has agreed (albeit, somewhat sadly) to sell one of his (many ::) ) boats. He's got his Clyde puffer up in Loch Etive now and is trying to raise funds to convert it into a houseboat - give him a wave if you're passing ;) so here are the details -
35ft (or it might be 36ft - he can't remember exactly !) steel hulled boat. This is made from 6mm plate and was fully shotblasted and repaired before getting the undercoat and hi-build primer applied. It has since sat, covered by a roof, and hasn't had anything else done to it. The paintwork needs a good wash down, but it's solid and ready for kitting out.
I think it's a 4 berth, cabin cruiser/trawler type boat (not speed boat or yaught) but since it's bare inside you could adapt it to your needs
There are rudders and something else steering related to go with it - boat man is in Oban, so I'll double check exactly what it is and let anyone who's interested know.
Also included is the anti-foulant paint, more hi-build primer and top coat to finish the paint job, worth around £450 on it's own. But it's best not to apply the anti-foul til it's almost ready to go in the water. If you weren't sure of painting it yourself, Bruce (my OH) will gladly do you a good deal and do it for you ;) He's a shot blaster & spray painter to trade
Asking £1500 o.n.o (plus painting if needed)
Also, to go with aforementioned boat ;) a Ford Leahman, 120bhp, 6.25L diesel engine and gearbox. Fully working when he got it, it's been stored since then. These things normally cost £800 before being reconditioned and without a gearbox according to my dad, so he's asking £800 for a quick sale.
If anyone wants to buy both together, we can and will happily talk discounts.
Drop me a pm if you're interested.
Karen

It's a bump and a price drop folks :excited:
£1800 for boat, paint & engine  (cheaper than a holiday home, and exempt from planning permission ;))
