Today, three more adult females made the long journey from Devon to Derbyshire .....Wytsend Cherry, Dinah and Minnie, to live with the other Anglo Nubian females, and potential boyfriend, Wytsend Darren!!
I was expecting Wytsend Bramble to kid - she was due today. Thought they may have arrived last night, but no. No sign this morning, she was out grazing/ Darted over when I threw some branches in for the females. Ten minutes later I heard such a racket. Alyce was at the gate yelling at me with some urgency. I followed her over to the goat arks and there were two kids and a third on the way. Quickly checked them over, and cleaned their mouths and noses, and wondered if there were any more to come, then the courier arrived with the 3 goats, so had to go and unload those. Kept dashing back to check, but no more kids.
So, my herd has increased dramatically today ;D
Husband was horrified when he rang to ask if the goats had arrived and I said yes ......plus three kids!!!!

Sorry about no pics .....rushing between two farms, and lots of animals, but will do my best to remember the camera.
There is two females and one male ....same as the other triplets. One of the females is tiny - similar sized to my 9 month old kitten, so much smaller than her siblings. She is in a cat carrier, wrapped in a tee shirt, in front of the oil heater in the caravan with us. Hubby not happy, he thought he had seen the last of goat kids in the caravan for this year......I did remember telling him more kids were due!!
Must mention my surprise from Wytsend. I was delighted with the beautiful waterproof rug - made by Wytsend for goats. Thank you, Wytsend. Just the weather for it, the heavy rain has arrived this evening.
