Passing this on from a friend who works for the Daily Post. Please forward to anyone who may be able to help:
An Anglesey horse breeder has issued an urgent appeal for a foster mare.
Emyr Williams, who runs the UK’s largest Shire horse stud at Ddrydwy Farm, Penscarnisiog, Ty Croes, lost the mare this morning.
Her foal, by a Clydesdale stallion, was rushed to Richard Owen’s equine clinic at Waen, St Asaph, for a blood transfusion.
Mr Williams would now like to hear from anyone with a mare capable of fostering the foal.
