FIL has decided his house is too big for him and has decided to sell up.
The house does need updating decoration wise but is otherwise sound (OH and his Dad built it in the early eighties!) It has a good orchard (my pigs get all the apples which will be a big loss to me) of apple, plum & pear trees. There is a building in which FIL bred greyhounds but could be converted for other animal use. The paddock out the back is a good 'longacre' hence the property's name!
Plenty of space for a good sized veg garden, hens and maybe a fattener(pig) or two.
Priced to sell and very reasonable for the area (most props in area with land go for £1/2mill)

Might get somebody started.

This is lovely Mandy, just what we would like and close enough for work if we could sell but after 2 years of trying the house is off Market with plans to retry in a couple of years :'( unless the lottery numbers come up.)
Was that a sigh of relief Mandy?........... You being close enough for a neighbour :D
Hope it sells quickly for them... ( but you never know... :fc: )
