What on earth is going on. Just over a week ago we lost our lovely Pedro. Then a lot of minor to medium health issues with me and Doug and today catastrophe stroke - Doug broke and dislocated his foot badly, ambulance came and he was taken to Hereford hospital by air ambulance. They probably have to operate but he definitely has to stay in hospital. Just off to see him now. Let's hope that this is the end of bad things happening.

Just got back home Brilliant staff at Hereford Hospital, ligaments torn , bone shattered, all screwed and glued back together within a couple of hours of breaking the leg, still a bit spaced out on 2x10 units morphine and loads of other pain relief.
had a very dignified journey to the chopper , in our wheelbarrow, and the trip to Hereford was a nightmare with the wind buffeting us all over the place, they reccon about a 12 week job to get back to normal.
Thank you all for your messages of good will I really appreciate it.

Are you managing?

Some of us just pays for the Helicopter Experience ticket... ::) Seriously, very glad they were able to get you to the right place so quickly and get you patched up and home. Now, can Gabi cope with everything else and a lame Doug to care for...? :o
