For the last few mornings around 7:30, I hear what sounds like a woman or child calling, "CYNTHIA!!!" So as I am hearing this I am wondering who is calling from what sounds like my property, and who is Cynthia? Is it a child or a lost dog? Today I heard it again and walked towards where I thought the sound was coming from. As I past the chickens in the pasture, I found out who was calling. It is one of my young roosters trying out his new crowing skills. I wonder if Cynthia is his favorite hen. Now every time one of those young roos try to crow I have to laugh and cannot get it out of my head that it sounds like "Cynthia!"
