If anyone was thinking of buying me one, don't bother.  When do smallholders have time to put their feet up anyway?

And if you do, those mucky boots would soon make the hens unrecognisable... ::)

Just ordered 3  ;D - not really but the OH reckons she can make them and sell with her scroll saw products ( when we get around to doing a fete). I am unsure that anyone would really want one though. It would look ridiculous in the house and if kept outside a cockeral would wreck it within the hour.

MAK,
I think that people would want one for the novelty factor.  If they were MUCH cheaper then I see them being bought as gifts for someone who keeps chickens.

MAK, completely disagree and think Sally has it spot on!!

When you get the production line going, please may I have two of your most durable (dogs, lots and lots of dogs!) assuming I won't need tonights £106m.  They are really quite adorable - think also great as doorstops - if they last that long ;D  :chook:

I think they'd be ideal pets for those townies who are getting out of the rat race and into the simply country life - and then complain about the neighbour's cockerel crowing.... (So nobody on TAS, of course!)

Well I love them, but won't be buying one myself, as I have trained a large Buff Orpington to use as a footstool instead.

To be fair, we're not the target market though, are we?

However, there are folks who have £3900 to spend on a henhouse and probably think the footstools are excellent value. "Oh Reginald, just think how much money we could save on eggs if we kept our own chickens"  ;D .

Did England get rid of all it's wealthy politicians and their allowances?? Surely a few of them, armed with your tax dollars, would be interested in buying them.

Or, you can be all crafty and inventive and knock one up for a grand total of £20  ;)   ;D
I had been waiting for Dan to put on a 'what can you make for as cheap as possible' show to 'unveil' our creation (well, my vision and arty bit and Bruces' DIY skills) but patience and me don't go well together  :innocent:   :D
So here's my shameless rip of off the Flyte so Fancy ones - shame we had to re-home all the chooks  ::)  Still, it'll look lovely parked in the orchard once it's planted
