Well, after years of saying we wanted to do it, my girlfriend and I are making the break from London and our current careers. We're going to be buying either a smallholding or small farm in southern england and run our own smallholding along with opening a campsite.
We've a lot to learn and mistakes to make but we're incredibly excited to be on the road at last. Our flat goes on the market next month and the plan is to then have money available to buy when we find the right piece of land. Our jobs will keep us in London till next spring/summer when we hope to move out and then have the campsite business open the following year.

Hi Justin.Welcome to TAS. This is a great site.
I'm also from London originally and would never have had myself down as ending up in Wales but here I am happier and more fulfilled than ever before.

I am originally from Ldn but after a long time on the Dorset/Hampshire border I am now in Wales and loving it.

 HI and welcome from soggy Shropshire. I'm another Londoner but have lived in a variety of places, mostly towns but also a Scottish island. Now back in a town with a backgarden microholding, goats, fruit and veg. Good luck with your venture.
