all was well with the turkeys and we are waiting for another incubator arrive to remove the eggs from the turkeys. They have killed two babies by squashing them...... ::) not as good as my hens as mums
today we found one of the girls dead on the nest..... we think she has been suffocated by the others, they all sit on top of each other and I think she must have got stuck.
well taken all the eggs out and moved the shed around but still upset by it :'(

:bouquet: here's hoping your remaining eggs hatch well. ( sad as it is, I suppose it is also how we learn )

We let a turkey hatch some eggs last year - after we had taken what we wanted!, and she lost them all. We have one sitting this year, but it's not looking hopeful. They aren't particularly bright, but I love having them around.
