Title: broken incubator
Post by: princesspiggy on May 26, 2012, 04:04:52 am
arghh our incubator broke down last week and killed 20 ready to hatch chicks.
any idea how to fix it anyone?

its a 24 egg covatutto which is 2 yrs old and excellent condition (was  ::) )
its been running constantly for 8 weeks and suddenly dropped by 10 degrees. fan is working, and it heats up to 25 degrees but no more. thermostat light doesnt come on.
it hasnt been dropped or anything. it might have had the humidity too high?

any ideas?
thanks

Sounds like the thermostat is knackered, find a covattuto dealer and they will have a replacement thermostat.
