Title: Hello From Ohio
Post by: blackbirdgeorge on April 21, 2009, 02:13:33 am
Hello All!

New to this forum and relatively new to raising pigs - we've been finishing pigs for 4 years now and started farrowing this year.  We finish our animals on pasture and are working out farrowing on pasture too.

I live in Northeast Ohio with my wife and two sons.  We own a small farm and we raise some other animals such as free-range layers, pastured broilers, heritage turkeys, and soon grass-fed lamb.  Some of these projects are in the beginner stage and some are a few years in the making.

One thing is for sure - there's plenty to learn and a lot of great folks doing what we're doing!

Best Regards,

George
