1700 ewes! :o  and I heaved a sigh of relief after my 4 lambed!!

A while ago.....fair while....bout 20 years.....I worked as shepherd for lambing with a flock of 2000 kerry hills and mules.
At one point I had sooooo many spare lambs in a huge pen with an ad lib feeder that I could hardly keep up with fostering them :o...........we still ended up with about 30 odds n sods that were too small, too dim, too ill etc to be fostered..........did I sigh with relief when we got the last trailer full out to the fields so I know why Pentre needs a holiday....without the sight of a sheep ;D
