Well today we decided to put Pitstop in the carriage. I took him in while OH put shafts on the carriage and adjusted everything to what he thought might be right. Pitstop was so good as we put on his harness then the cart. We only walked him for a few strides around the yard but he was very calm and not the least bothered. As it was his first time I kept it short but will do a bit more each time until I am sure he is happy with everything before I get in and start to drive him. Will get OH to put on a picture tomorrow.

Pitstop will be 10 on the 6th of June. He had a bad fall in the field about 4 years ago and its been a long slow progress getting him back well. To see him happy and enjoying life again is wonderful. he loves to be doing something but riding him is not something he can cope with anymore so I hope driving him in the field will help, only time will tell. He had a great showing record, judges loved him but he was such a show off. right from his first show as a foal he liked the attention. he had that look at me everyone.
