Robert - have you ever used horse or ox to plough etc ?
The old dears near us grew up with ox drawn farm tools and have them ( the tools and yokes that is) scattered around garden and living room respectiveley.
must have been a hard life.

no never worked with them   when i was a little boy i always wanted a Clydesdale  horse then one day as i rounded the corner to our farm there in all his majestic glory was a Clydesdale horse in our field
barstewards  his transport had broken down and he was temporarily at our farm till the Lorrie was repaired :farmer:
