Title: Lonely guinea fowl chick
Post by: lizto on May 18, 2012, 07:49:34 pm
Only 1 of my 6 ebay guinea fowl eggs has hatched. Can't find any newly hatched guinea fowls locally (Kent) as company. Would it be better to bring him / her up alone or to get some companions of a different species? Suggestions appreciated!

Definitely find him some companions. Chicken chicks most likely I would have thought.

Anything that pecks would do. They'll encourage him to feed.

Thanks for advice. He is now safely ensconced with 3 LF companions and no longer chirping pitifully all night. Remains to be seen if he has identity issues!
