Helshelly you haven't put where you are
-
depends where you are i am looking for couple of females for my drake as his last wives were killed by a dog and although he is the picture of optisism he just cant mate with the aylsburys no matter how much he jumps on their backs when they are swimming round the pond. (tis funny to watch mind) ;D
-
I am also after some call ducks after the fox paid a visit :'(
whereabouts are you?
-
Oops sorry I'm in a village 3 miles west of Cambridge, (Great Eversden).I'm not sure how to sex the ducklings but out of 9 I'm sure there are must be some females..I'll have a go at seeing which colours are females today!

We sex our call ducks by there quack......females are the more vocal,
and sell our in group 0f 2 or 3 so that were not left with all males.
Having to many males left you will find can cause havoc next mating season.
-
Females quack and males sound like they've got a sore throat.
-
Also at 10 -12 weeks males get a curl in their tail and like above the quack is obviously different - males raspy, low and females higher and higher volume
-
sorry too far away from me best of luck finding them homes though.
:)
