Apologies if I'm revealing my IT ignorance, but I can't really get the "Search" function to find the post that I'm looking for. I posted something about BT back in April, but cannot now find the responses. What am doing wrong? :-[ :-

you're definitely searching the forum ... not the full site?
(on the forum tab, not the white box with a magnifying glass!)
I only ask, because I keep making the same mistake - and I know its wrong!
Maybe you need to change the key words round abit?
I've found the same thing, that what you think should be easy to find... Isn't!

Some forums have a three letter limit - so "BT" wouldn't work but "BT something" would :)

this the one?
telephone transfer, rather than BT

The search is a bit quirky - as Little Blue says you need to either use the main site search, then click the 'Search Forum' button, or go directly to the forum search using the 'SEARCH' link in the forum navigation.
It's on the list to make it more intuitive. :)
The minimum search is 2 characters, so 'BT' is a valid search term.

Thanks everyone, particularly Little Blue. It says something when other people can find my posts before I can! I will follow the advice given and hope to do better in future.

ooh, forgot to say Possum ..
... if its a relatively new post, have a look on your profile page, where it says "posts" (or something like) and search through there.
If you have something to say about everything, it could take a while! ;)
