Title: Chickens enjoying the sunshine
Post by: Bionic on May 12, 2012, 11:21:39 am
There hasnt been a lot of sun since I bought the chickens so this morning they were making the most of it.

Sunbathing under my lilac bush.

Doris (who had the prolapse) seems to have settled in well again after her solitary confinement as she is right in the middle.

Ohhhh.. idyllic, Sally !  Can't remember when I was last in the presence of dappled sunlight on lush grass...

We made a little roost tree for our chicks. Only a ten minute lash-up with a piece of 2 x 2 but they seem to be getting the hang of it. One of them is already on level 3!!!

Great idea that Suziequeue. Problem is if our agile little Leghorns or TNN's got near the top they could see what's over the walls and fly there.
