I'm starting to think I preferred the winter, at least the house work got done as it is too dark to be up late at the field! House work has definatly slipped a bit recently... Have to have a major tidy up and clean sometime this weekend as our lodger is back for a while (he works away a lot).
Have been too busy faffing with electric fencing (bane of my life somethings always wrong!), feeding lambs, cleaning out, sorting floods out etc.
How do you find the time to do the other stuff, like work and house work etc. there must be a way! Maybe stopping time to stand sti or bein able to survive on 4 hours sleep 365 days of the year?

Get slate floors that look good with muddy bootmarks on and cover every available flat surface with paperwork that you threaten with filing one day. Thats what I do - or is that really cleaning? dunno.

Housework is a vile punishment dreamed up by men! And that being the case 90% of ours is done by the Best Beloved ;D

You don't need more hours, you just need to work faster...! ::)

my idea of house work is work on the house - fitting fascias, roof tiling etc.
My attitude to spring cleaning rhymes with bucket...
(though actually, my kitchen is the cleanest its been for a long while as folk are coming to celebrate my 30 years on the planet today! Its taken ALOT of work to get it looking habitable, hence why its an outside-or-one-room-party!!)

Not sure slate floor ok in a first floor flat, love the idea of straw! Been up the field since 9 am bk home now at 5pm have to do a couple hours house work, eat, walk dogs for an hour or so then back up the field (a half hours drive away) for last bottle feed of orphans then home and bed.
Some how, tomorrow, I have to fit in putting together new hen house and bodge together a run, fined things for a car boot for Monday am, paint bathroom ceiling so lights can go in, 10 mile training walk, meet friends in the pub (planned weeks ago), about 6 loads of washing, physio the dog and do the animals- just basic food and watering takes 1.5 hrs doing it by my self- hubby working 9 am till midnight so just me tomorrow.
Well I think I'm just slack and need to man up and get on with it!
Thanks!!
