Title: weaners wanted in devon!
Post by: jonnym on May 02, 2012, 10:33:02 pm
Hi all,

Wander if you could recommend anyone selling weaners in devon? Particularly keen for GOS as will be in an orchard but will take other suggestions! All seem to be selling well in advance...and before I get there!

Many thanks!

Jonny

Whats the connection between GOS and a orchard, all pigs eat apples, all pigs dig [except kune but they not real pigs.]  ;)  Just choose something you like,no rules as to what pig goes where.

the only way a kunnie wont dig is if it is ringed :farmer:
gos were ment to be raised in orchards and when the apples fall on the pigs it leaves a bruise hence the black spots  they must have had some bashing :D :D :farmer:

I usually have GOS weaners available......whereabouts in Devon are you Jonny and what are you looking for?

BTW I can tell you from experience that Kunes do dig.......and they can dig a lot  :) :) :)

And I picked up two GOS weaners from Julie last night and already there are craters all over their pen (only the rain has slowed them down). I also had  images of a bucolic piggy existence in the Orchard but that's not going to happen!
